Fontanska community: teamwork brings results

A year has passed since the Fontansk village council had a new leader. He was Andriy Serebriy. He is one of the deputies of the Fontansk united territorial community from the party "Servant of the People". In a difficult time for the community, colleagues elected Andriy Serebriy as the secretary of the village council and entrusted him with the leadership of the ATC.

As time has shown, the choice was right. Because the new leadership immediately announced the main approach to solving any issues and problems - teamwork. "It is impossible to achieve results alone," - the acting chairman of the village council Andriy Serebriy is confident.

The team was immediately joined by those who prioritized the success of the community over any personal preferences or desires. It is noteworthy that about 90% of the employees of the village council, departments and communal enterprises remained in their positions. Village council deputies, employees of communal enterprises, and entrepreneurs also joined the teamwork.

And the residents of the community. After all, the openness of the processes taking place in the community, the transparency of projects and plans, as well as interaction with citizens have become the main principles adhered to by the new leadership of the Fontanka AH. By the way, citizens are accepted during any working hours, without prior appointment, and the personal number of the head is available to everyone.

Very little time has passed, only a year, and it became clear: it was teamwork that the Fontanka community was so lacking in order for the residents of Fontanka, Kryzhanivka, Liski, Oleksandrivka, Svitly, Novaya Dofinovka, Vapnyarka to finally receive the changes in their lives that they were waiting for. After all, enough problems have accumulated over the past years: it was necessary to build shelters and roads, repair schools and preschool institutions, equip children's and sports grounds, ensure the safety of citizens. And at the same time find funds to help our soldiers who defend the country.

As confirmed by a year of teamwork, it is cohesion, focus on results, openness and constant communication with people, and not strife, discord, creation of artificial conflict situations and endless information manipulations, that enable the community to move forward.

The main areas of work were immediately identified. The first priority is support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The second area is community security. In particular, the construction of shelters in schools and kindergartens. Next is the development of the education sector. And, finally, the implementation of large infrastructure projects. Work continues in these areas to this day.

Support for the Defense Forces is an absolute priority

— In 2025, the community allocated UAH 29 million to support the Defense Forces, which is more than 20% of the development budget, — says the acting head of the village council. — For comparison: in 2024 this amount was UAH 16 million.

The main emphasis in providing assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is on combat requests. These are drones, starlinks, electronic warfare systems. And cars. In the first five weeks of the new team’s work, five cars were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine — two from the community budget, two with the support of a public organization, and one at the expense of village council employees.

This year, the community continues to support our soldiers. Thus, at the regular session of the Fontansk village council, which took place at the end of February, a decision was made to allocate more than 13 million UAH to support the military. A car was purchased for the needs of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Work in this direction continues, because the security of the country, support for the Defense Forces is an absolute priority in the community’s activities.

The main thing is the safety of the community

The hottest news — the community received a state subsidy of 10 million 360 thousand UAH for the construction of a shelter for the “Gnizdechko” preschool educational institution. This is the largest such facility in the community. The work was started last year on our own. But thanks to the allocation of a state subsidy, the necessary funds are now available in full. And this means that the facility, so necessary for the community, will be completed this summer. And on September 1, the children will return to their favorite kindergarten. In safe conditions.

Of course, receiving a state subsidy is also the result of painstaking, persistent, joint teamwork.

And it is hard to believe that recently, at the beginning of last year, before the arrival of the new team, only five shelters out of ten planned were operating in the community. But as of September 1, 2025, all ten shelters were fully ready and are now accepting children and residents of the community.

In addition, construction of a second shelter at the Fontansky Lyceum has begun, and reconstruction and construction of a shelter at the Kryzhanivsky Lyceum will begin soon.

As we can see, the pace of construction has increased dramatically since the spring of last year. For one reason: the safety of residents has become another priority of those who currently manage the life of the community. Safety is the future, Andriy Serebriy is sure.

By the way, last year, the State Emergency Service forces appeared on the territory of the community for the first time: now four fire engines are working, one of which belongs to the community, three are involved. Also, the construction of a fire station is underway for
